Sustainable Sustenance

These past few months of physical distancing measures have reminded us of our global interconnectivity on an astounding scale, we have seen how small gestures can make a big impact: washing hands, being mindful of how we share space with each other.

We got a glimpse of the world with a momentary reduction in carbon emissions from frequent flyers and the daily commute by car, and saw that change is needed on an even larger industrial level.  Perhaps like us, you have been asking the big questions, “What’s really important?”  “How can I make choices that are more aligned with my values?”  “What can I do?”

At Vert, we care about what you eat.  We love making healthy and delicious food using sustainable practices.  When we create vegan dishes, we bring the same effervescent flair that we bring to our full catering menu, and now Vert is making the choice to eat fulfilling plant-based meals easier than ever - by bringing them right to your door!

Eating a more plant-based diet has many benefits: personal health, animal rights, worker safety, and of course the environmental impact.

If committing to “Veganism” is intimidating, making small shifts in your diet can make a big difference: try eating vegan once a week, or for two meals of the day, or give it a trial run for a full 21 days.

Vert can help you start off in a fresh direction!  Try one of Vert’s new Meal and Pantry Kits, where we prepare revitalizing vegan dishes and deliver them to your door.  Pass by Vert’s Casse-Croute for a delectable vegan poutine picnic basket, or grab some Veginstead sandwiches on-the-go.  As Toronto’s original green caterer since 2005, Vert always has an eye on long-term sustainability, and we want to share how enjoyable and inspiring plant-based meals can be.

Join us as we explore food that grows, and food that gives. Let's explore one meal at a time.

Stay tuned, as we develop a new product called Veginstead. A line of vegan and gluten free protein products.
